Note: This route is more practical because Chandragiri lies on the south-western side of Kathmandu, while Chisapani, Nagarkot, Dhulikhel and Namobuddha are located towards the north-eastern and eastern side. Visiting Chandragiri first and then continuing towards Sundarijal, Chisapani and the eastern hill stations makes the itinerary smoother and more logical.

- After breakfast, begin the tour from Kathmandu and drive or ride towards Chandragiri Hills. Chandragiri is one of the most popular hill stations near Kathmandu and is known for its cable car ride, Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple and beautiful views of Kathmandu Valley.
Upon arrival at the Chandragiri cable car base station, take the cable car ride to the hilltop.
